Plastic Beauty

I came across in Netflix a very interesting series. Plastic Beauty - It is a japanese series that explores the world of plastic surgery. The series showed how important it is to understand the client`s point of view or rather how they see themselves and how they feel before and after surgery. 

For some they have grown out of their cocoon to a beautiful, ravishing butterfly. For others they may have suicidal tendency if they cannot get their desired surgery or not be able to achieve their desired appearance. It is like buying what you believe is genuine cashmere but turned out to be fake.  The disappointment can be overwhelming. They don´t want to live anymore. 

We called also compare plastic surgery or Plastic Beauty  to a gambling. Every time you win, you gain something and you gain all its benefits. But after you have enjoyed all the benefits you become unsatisfied and seek more. Another possibility is a psychological disorder called Body Dysmorphic Disorder. It is a disorder which makes  them feel that their still ugly even after surgery. They continue to find flaws in themselves. 

In addition to this the  Plastic Beauty series  educated the viewers about postoperative care and the possible consequences especially if they don`t follow the surgeon`s instructions. 

I find it also interesting how they created the "before and after " appearances through make up by Amazing Jiro for most of the actresses like Naoko Ken who portrayed  the role of  Yuriko Sakashita. At first I thought they used different actresses for this scene. I was surprised to discover that it was the same actress. Unfortunately,  I have not been able to find a you tube tutorial about the Plastic Beauty make up transformation. But my curiosity about natural- looking facial lifting has grown such as using the product cure tape. I wonder if it will be effective for me. As for some people  who have been using it as early as their 30`s found it effective to decrease or prevent their wrinkles from multiplying. I am now 42 and I have a few face wrinkles myself but I don`t feel that I need botox or fillers for now but Cure Tape may come in handy. 

I am also interested in rhinosplasty surgery. As a Filipino, we don`t really have perfect stereotypical nose. In my opinion,  our nose looks good. I am still debating with myself whether I want to keep it or have a rhinoplasty in the future. I mean a not so perfect nose can also be a charm specially if your in a world where all the perfect noses already exist. Also the culture now in the Philippines and many other countries are now becoming more and more open to plastic surgery. In fact people seem to be considering these procedures like at Plastic Beauty even at a young age, because everyone wants to achieve fame with beauty or maybe the right word is acceptance. I also consider myself having a plastic surgery soon like Nikita Dragon. But for now I educate myself with make up skills and starting to achieve the picture perfect appearance.

Sports Photoshoot

 

It’s been a while since I posted here because I was busy working here in Germany. I actually missed blogging. I was lucky to have the opportunity to do sports photoshoot before. I am not sure if they where edited or what. But anyway I want to share that I love sports. I joined volleyball, basketball,  swimming and truck and field, football which I learned at school.  Before we love to do cheering at school and trying out some bending games and so on. I use to split once and was never able to do it again. But I am not giving up and never too old to do some stuff like bending. I still do some split exercises from time to time so that I can be able to perform. I also like to do billiards on my free time. Sometimes I also play badminton with friends. Wall climbing is the most exciting sports for me. I tried outdoor wall climbing  at UP Diliman which was very high and now here in Germany I was able to do a big wall climbing with different categories. I want to be able to pull off some stunts one day. Then lately I also learned how to play Tennis here in Germany. Which was difficult because I can’t do long strides. But I think if I practice more I can do more definitely. I aim to play two on two one day on Tennis. I am also good at Boxing at the gym. 

Ok So enough of the stuff that I do. It is also important to wear clothes and shoes that will make you comfortable  and less sweaty to be able to withstand any weather circumstances or to withstand your moves. One that is sturdy enough, breathable and long lasting enough to endure.

Babymonsters new song has been released.

Their new song was different from the previous one that was very up to beat. The new song "Stuck in the Middle is very melodic and maybe a lot of people can relate to this love song. I love how the MV was created by the way. It looks like an Anime came to life. 

Kelsey Meritt on U & I

 I was hovering at You Tube when I notice the new Music Video of James Reid with Kelsey Meritt entitled U&I. It has been awhile since I notice  Kelsey Meritt on Social Media after being the first Pilipina who joined the Victoria's Secret in 2018.

She has done several projects since then like Sports Illustrated, commercials and fashion shows in different countries.

Teen Vouge, Preview and other magazines ensured an opportunity to interview or feature Kelsey Meritt either in their magazine or in You Tube.

In her new music video with James Reid she looked stunning and also modelsque. Can't figure out who's the designer of the gown though. But if I would be getting married, I would be buying the gown. The way she handled the gown during the video was also like watching a fashion shoot. Moving aside, I think it's a good teamwork from two Pilipinos who are working in abroad right now but producing music and fashion for Pilipinos and people around the world. The music itself was upbeat and at the same time brings  a positive vibe to the listener. Seeing them together also gives them resemblance of Justine Bieber and Hailey getting married who are also both in the Music and Fashion industry.

Alodia Gosiengfiao

Alodia Gosiengfiao, an international Cosplayer, Model, Entrepreneur, Gamer  started her career at the age of 15. 

She cosplayed a character from Ragnarok and after winning the 3rd Place with her sister Ashley Gosiengfiao. Since then she has bagged a lot of awards as a cosplayer from different Cosplay events in the Philippines and was invited to other countries as well. Her audiences extends from cosplayers and to gamers. After that she was recognized as a model and even became part the FHM Philippines sexiest woman. She has also vlogged and also portrayed a big role in social media by launching the Facebook Gaming.  

As a cosplayer and influencer she also had the opportunity to meet the actors in Hollywood who portrayed Marvel or DC Characters. Now she has started her own gaming businesses and hired Pilipino gamers, cosplayers to promote the gaming industry and promote the Philippines which they called Tier One. 

And just like her, these players a.k.a Blacklist International are also collecting trophies including the trophy they have received from Sea Games beating Sibol from Vietnam this year 2022. 

 Alodia also hired international cosplayers and gamers to promote cosplays in the Philippines and mostly around asia. These cosplayers for example are brought to the Philippines to tour and be on the social media.

 

Blue Gothic Make up

 

For this look I, I mix the ideas from Pinterest blue make up. For my eyebrows instead of using a paste to cover the eyebrows I used foundation then I colored it with a dark eye shadow. Then for my eye lids I mix white and bright blue eyeshadow from Wet and Wild. Afterwards I used Avon liquid eye liner and blue lipstick.
