Photoshoot at Home Part 1

After I watched America's Next Top Model Season 1 Episode 3. I was also inspired to do the makeup challenge by Tyra Banks. 

I did a test make up and shoot. 

I took a photos of myself with and without lights. I was checking whether the make up looks good on camera. Initially, the eyeshadow weren't even.  The lipsticks was uneven as well and my hair was wet because I took a picture after I shower. So I headed for work still wearing my make up. 

My lipstick was gone after a few hours probably erased from the mask. For foundation I used a skin toned color. I was thinking of making it more darker for the photo. After work I retouched my make up. I used a brighter foundation which was 2 shades brighter than my skin tone.

The makeup was better and I used a ringlight for my face. I didn't have a curler or anything that would style my hair. So I toss and turned my head to give it shape. Beauty shot wasn't really my thing then so I couldn't think of what post to do. I was thinking of what I would do and I thought of Alison Harvard who was also a contestant in America's Next Top Model. She has a very distinct face and her forte in the Beauty Industry is fantasy make up.

So I searched her Instagram and my photos came up with this. 

 

The I thought that I should put different expressions one which is like an angry rocker 

and like a surprised look

Then finally I put on a head shot photo. 

There you have it guys. I hope you like the photos and learned the process of Home Photoshoot. For me I had to do my own Photoshoot because I haven't been collaborating with any photographer in awhile and for now this is how I prepare myself for any future Photoshoot that I will have. I continue to practice putting my own makeup and model poses.
