Filipiniana

This photo was taken May 2017. My task was to be able to join Mega Magazine's event. Although I was not able to win it I was actually proud of this photo because of the pinoy products that I was wearing.
The event was about music and fashion so I thought that I should wear something unique and fashionable. Let me introduce to you the products that I wore.

First my hair was colored by Bench Fix Salon at SM East Ortigas. It was actually done for 2 hours but I think was more than that. I love the result of my hair color including my eyebrows. Actually my hair still looked good even after a year or so.

Next my necklace is from Kultura which you can find also at any SM branches. A necklace cost usually P100 and up. You'll also find local designer bags and clothes in Kultura.

The Baro top that I was wearing is actually something I have kept for years for Filipiniana events but I think it was appropriate to wear it at a fashion event like Mega.

My skirt was bought in Mindanao and it is called Malong thanks to my friend who gave it to me. I really wanted a T-nalak fabric but I guess that was difficult to find it even in Mindanao. But I'm glad he gave this to me because I was able to wrap it around my waist to suit my whole outfit.

The pants is a different story. It's from my mom from abroad but its color yellow and its trendy.
